Un estudio publicado recientemente en Nature Medicine revela que las bebidas azucaradas están asociadas a más de 3 millones de casos de diabetes tipo 2 y enfermedades cardiovasculares al año en todo el mundo. La investigación indica que aproximadamente el 9,8% de los nuevos casos de diabetes tipo 2 y el 3,1% de las enfermedades cardiovasculares están asociados al consumo de bebidas azucaradas.
